About Me

Hi, I'm Rocker! I'm the main developer (if you can even call me that) for DrumBase and the curator for the content on here. I have been playing rhythm games of all kinds since 2003 with Amplitude by Harmonix. Ever since that day, I've been hooked to rhythm games for life. I began charting songs for fun in 2016, with a Rock Band custom of Sweet Victory by David Glen Eisley. As for DrumBeats VR charting, I have been charting since October 2021, basically as soon as I got a VR headset and I found out about this game. I may also be doing some other things related to DrumBeats behind the scenes, but that's for you to find out about in the future!

On top of charting for fun for this game, I do a lot of audio work. I currently have two degrees, one in Audio Engineering Technologies, and another in Sound Production, both received in 2021. I have been casually making and mixing music since 2014, but got serious about it in 2018. I have done some mixing and mastering work for many artists, including Stellure, Astreal, Sunny Shiro, keirabat, and the Valencia College House Band of 2019. I am also currently in a band, Selfish Plant Managers. Guess what? Two of our songs are on the main setlist for DrumBeats VR! Water Fountain of Knowledge and Dragged Away! You should definitely play those songs!

Adding on to my mixing and mastering work, for some songs on the database, I have personally mixed them using original tracks! These are not official mixes and are all for fun and all done for the personal experience of mixing them and making content for this website.
